Automatizované knihovnické systémy v České republice

Abstract

The Bachelor thesis „Automated library systems in the Czech Republic – history and present“ deals with the development of automatization of library systems and characterizes present status of these systems. The thesis concentrates on description of the following systems: LaNius, Clavius, KP-Win, KP-Win SQL, Advanced Rapid Library, DAIMON, Aleph and T Series. A questionnaire which is part of the thesis was sent to the chosen libraries in the Moravian-Silesian region. The purpose of this questionnaire was to find out which of the system is the most used and why. According to the research, the Clavius systems seems to be the most suitable.
