Abstract
The bachelor thesis "Comparison of the Accounting and Market Value of Selected Assets in a Commercial Establishment" focuses on the valuation of immovable property. The theoretical part defines the basic principles for valuing immovable property and determining market value. The second part outlines the basic concepts for valuing immovable property from an accounting perspective. The practical part focuses on the application of the comparative method and the calculation of accounting and tax depreciation.
