Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with a complex proposal of a small hydroelectric power plant placed on Hamerský stream. The first part focuses on a given locality and describes its characteristics. The next part covers a theory of small hydroelectric power plant including their history, description, selection and environment impact. The thesis also discusses parts of small hydroelectric power plant, such as water turbines, power generators, weirs, intake objects and feeders and a drain. Practical parts cover a proposal of each part, which means turbine selection, weir proposal, feeders, machines room and the drain. The model of flooding area of Rožnovská Bečva was prepared as well by using GIS and hydrodynamic model. The last part focuses on overall economic aspect of the project. It consist 4 drawings: Situation, Lengthwise profile of small hydroelectric power plant, Lock object cross section and lengthwise views.
