Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate Internet presentation of language school Hello and increase usability for the average Web user. Evaluation was carried out using qualitative research, specifically user testing method, which can be considered as form of individual depth interview. Were tested six users, who represented a potential customers of language school Hello. User testing was proceeded using a pre-prepared script, which contained 50 questions and tasks that test takers have performed and answered. In this way, two sites were tested, the web of language school Hello and competitive web of educational institution Tutor. Information from user testing of both sites were compiled into the suggestions and recommendations, whose aim is to increase the usability of the web language school Hello for real users. At the beginning of the thesis are described the theoretical basis, which are used in the analytical part. In the next part is characterized language school Hello, particularly internet company presentation, description of competitors, customers and macro-environment that affects the business of language schools. The analytical part of the thesis deals with user testing and evaluation of information. The conclusion includes suggestions and recommendations that emerged from user testing.
