Abstract
The diploma thesis comprehensively analyzes the problem of photovoltaic power plants ("PVP"), both from theoretical (PVP types, types of connection) and from a practical perspective (measurements, fire intervention), including experiments with photovoltaic panels with an emphasis on the dangers by interventions on the objects with PVP. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the source of energy for PVP, sorts out the currently existing technologies, introduces various installations of photovoltaic systems and their components. The second part defines the possible risks and dangers which have to be account. The third part describes the individual experiments with PVP, including basic measurements of key parameters. After evaluating the results, PVP was exposed to thermal stress, which should determine PV system behavior under fire conditions. Conclusion of this thesis should be to gather evidence from various experiments and measurements that should be used in fire protection for the determination of tactical procedures, recommendations for firefighters by a fire of PVP, and to determine adequate fire alarm plan for Pilsen region.
