Studie využití prostoru v okolí ul. Keltičkovy ve Slezské Ostravě

Abstract

The aim of bachelor thesis is a resolving of the territory around streets Keltickova, Zámostní and Bohumínská, in the area around the tank – monument of 1st Czechoslovak tank brigade in USSR in Silesian Ostrava, including technical infrastructure connections, parking lots and mobiliary. The solution is provided in two versions, proposition A is elaborated into details. In this proposition there is one building of public facilities (a restaurant and a shop) constructed in this territory. There is also a building of public facilities in proposition B (an administration office and a shop) but each one is situated in its own building. Both proposals envisage using the area of the residents of adjacent residential units, staff from surrounding institutions as well as visitors from other places. The thesis is devided into several chaptures. The first and the second chapter contain a brief recapitulation of the theoretical and fundamental knowledge of the issue. The other chaptures describe a history and contemporary development of the area in time, characteristics of the territory, urban design, anticipated resolution costs and finding solutions. This work can be used for the Silesian district office of the city of Ostrava as a basis for negotiations on the territory use.
