Financování zdravotnictví v České republice

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the health care funding in the Czech Republic. I have focused mainly on the health care reform and the regulative charges. The major goals of this diploma thesis were to evaluate the health care funding in the Czech Republic and to quantificate the impact of selected changes (mainly of the regulative charges). Afterwards there were mentioned certain suggestions and recommendations to improve the current health care funding situation. For reaching the goal the descriptive method of theoretical and empirical knowledges, sensitivity analysis, and logically deductive method were used. In the end of this thesis it is recommended to reimplement the regulative charges again, to introduce health care tax and to focus on supplementary insurance for persons engaged in risky sports and employments. To keep the sustainable quality of the health care in the Czech Republic it is absolutely necessary to establish enhanced working conditions for physicians.
