Abstract
This thesis deals with management and reservation of data flows in computer networks, both on theoretical and practical level.
In the first part the reader will learn the basic Quality of Service characteristics such as bandwidth, delay, jitter and packet loss. This thesis describes some important tools of Quality of Service as well as three basic models of individual QoS tool implementations.
Practical building of networks with QoS tools is described in the second part of the thesis. At first, it is tested on routers of Huawei company. At the end is compared a compatibility of Huawei and Cisco routers.
