Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to process information related to partial discharges. Their characteristics and species. Describe how they express themselves and what effects they have on insulation systems. One important part of this work is a section on defects, because nowadays enjoys a large amount of electrical equipment and therefore put great emphasis on compliance with the electricity supply without interruption. This paper describes the ways and principles of partial discharge measurements. It also shows how the search is performed partial discharges in operating conditions. To approach the issue of partial discharge, there are some defects in the operating device. The relevant documents are captured photographs of measurements. Furthermore, there is described the development of partial discharges in insulation systems.
