Centrální banka a peníze

Abstract

This thesis focuses on central banks and their basic defining characteristics issue cash money. The work outlines the emergence of central banks and their development from the 17th century, when it first appeared in the history of the central bank. It also outlines the functions of central banks which execute in economy. There are also presented forms and functions of money, monetary aggregates, development money issue and circulation of the present and money counterfeit problem. For comparison were selected central banks Czech and Slovak Republic and the Czech National Bank and the National Bank of Slovakia, where it is compared to their issuance, development and seized counterfeit currency.
