Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on waste management selected municipalities. The aim of this study is to assess the state of waste management in the municipality Vikýřovice for the past 8 years and suggest possible improvements. Bachelor thesis is divided into five parts, the first part is an introduction, three other parts are deeply engaged in waste management of the municipality and the fifth part is the conclusion. The theoretical part focuses on a general introduction to the history of waste management, the causes of waste and explains what it is municipal waste and also clarifies this topic related legislation. Further work in the theoretical part with charging for services for export and processing of waste. Based on data obtained from questionnaires analyzed the practical part of the waste management municipality Vikýřovice. Based on the resulting values are recommended and proposed final solution.
