Abstract
In my thesis I focused on the distribution of current density and alternating current in the conductors of the rectangular and circular profile. Also I focused on the magnitude of the losses which were caused by the passage of both AC and DC current through the given conductor profile. Further I targeted on the interaction between two conductors of rectangular and circular profile. For the analysis I used a simulation program based on the finite element method. The calculated values were compared with the examples that I found in the literature and subsequently evaluated.
