Abstract
The main goal of this thesis is to find out consumer behaviour during sport selection for children, especially for handball. The thesis is focused on which reasons parents choose from for their children, how the children get to the sport such as handball and it also finds out the parents satisfaction with the choice of this particular sport for their children. The problem is solved by questionnaire investigation and for the analysis are used programmes Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS.
Executed research shown that the main reason for parents to choose this sport is in order to their childern would like it and want to play it. Further was found out that satisfaction with handball is on very high level and also was found out that children get into the handball team from 75% without any club´s help (recruitment, etc.).
The main detection is, that the current coach´s activities should continue, because thanks to satisfaction they run very well, but what should change are the activities of the hanball team during the recruitment and gaining of the children.
