Abstract

The thesis focuses on the process of installing a bell and its equipment in a church tower. In the theoretical part of the thesis, it focuses on the field of campanology, including the development of lifting techniques for heavy burdens. The next section specifies and compares requirements for satisfying the legislative framework of the Czech Republic and Poland. Then it compares the injury rate in these two countries. The thesis then presents the requirements for the health and qualifications of workers performing work at heights, and also the required personal protective equipment. In the last section of the theoretical part, the entire risk management process and its methods of handling are described. In the practical part, based on familiarization with the work process at a specific workplace, an expert risk assessment is performed. From its results, a technical procedure specifying the conditions for the course of work and the conditions for the protection of life and health of workers is prepared.
