Staré zámky jako brownfields a jejich revitalizace (zámek Chotěbuz)

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on old chateaux classified as brownfields and their revitalization. The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate a possible future proposal for the re-use of the Chotěbuz Chateau which is located in Chotěbuz. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on old chateaux classified as brownfields, basic terminology, sources of financing, policy development of brownfields and also some particular examples of revitalization of similar old chateaux in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The next chapter deals with the main problems that arise during revitalizations of old chateaux. The following chapter is devoted to the town Chotěbuz and the castle. The pivotal chapter of this thesis is focused on the Chotěbuz chateau itself. It inculdes a specific proposal for the re-use of the Chotěbuz chateau based on necessary analyzes which are carried out first. The final part of my diploma thesis offers a dicussion which summarizes results of my current understading and knowledge of this issue.
