Násypy vysokorychlostních železnic

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the subgrade of high-speed railway embankments. The first part of the thesis addresses the concept of high-speed rail lines in the Czech Republic and the recommendations to be followed when constructing embankments. The thesis then focuses on the theoretical foundations of consolidation and possible structural measures in the subgrade of embankments. In the practical part of the bachelor’s thesis, a model calculation of the time course of consolidation is performed using the GEO5 program—specifically the settlement module—for various subgrade treatment options and their mutual comparison.
