Abstract

The aim of the thesis „Equal Opportunities Policy in a Selected Organisation“ is to look into approaches and opinions of employees in a selected company and analyse the situation in chosen personnel processes as far as equal opportunities are concerned. The thesis is divided into four main chapters which firstly define theoretical-methodological principles and describe basic terms. The other parts deal with the structure of the selected organisation. A description of used methods and techniques of research, including the method used in my thesis, follows. The last chapter describes in detail and comments on individual attitudes of respondents. The closing part summarizes established facts and consequent recommendations that arose from the primary research together with a proposition of an anti-discrimination clause which would be a part of company standards, e.g. a code of ethics.
