EUROPEAN FINANCIAL STABILITY FUND AND ITS POSSIBLE IMPACTS ON MEMBER STATES OF EUROZONE

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate quantifiable and non-quantifiable impacts of provided financial assistance from the European Financial Stability Fund for economies of Eurozone, in the concrete countries „PIIGS“ and asses impacts of assistance from the ESM in the future. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is indroduction, the second chapter is devoted to the genesis of Economic and Monetary Union. Next, the third chapter deals with the Eurozone and rescue mechanisms, where I devote mainly the European Central Bank, International Monetary Fund and the European Stability Mechanism. The fourth chapter evaluates impacts of provided assistance from the European Financial Stability Fund for countries „PIIGS“. The final chapter summarizes the thesis.
