Abstract

The thesis focuses on the development of an occupational health and safety plan for a new sulphuric acid filling station. The theoretical basis for the development of the plan is explained. The applicable legislation is defined and the basic concepts are identified. Furthermore, the inconsistency of the issue at the international level is pointed out. Comparisons are made between the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Finland. This is followed by a summary of the OSH obligations of the construction participants. The practical part consists of the actual OSH plan, for which the most important points are evaluated and risk analyses are made A summary and risk assessment of the site is provided in the final chapter.
