Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to highlight the social and economical impact of debt relief to the debtor. The thesis contains suggestions how to avoid debt. In this thesis I analyze a group of twenty debtors, which I've got from insolvency register. By the analysis of this group, I found the circumstances that cause the financial problems of debtors. It is the financial illiteracy of debtors and mismanagement of funds.
