Porovnání metod výpočtů vzdálenosti poruch na vedeních přenosové soustavy

Abstract

The Master´s thesis deals with the problem of locating breakdowns on the external power lines of the transmission system. The transmission system and its importance on the domestic, respectively foreign market are described in the introduction of the thesis. The stable operation of the transmission system would not be possible without the protections and devices that monitor it. I focused on distance protection in my Master´s thesis. I described the use of distance protection in more detail and the principle they work on. In addition, I explained the content of distance protection. Surely, it was also important to concentrate on the ideas of where and in what format they write down individual breakdown conditions. The breakdown records are written by a breakdown recorder, which creates a record in COMTRADE format. This format was described in the 3rd chapter. The main aim of the Master´s thesis is the comparison of three methods that are used in a practice for the calculation of the breakdown location on external lines. It is specifically these three methods: One-Ended Impedance-Based method, Synchronized Two-Ended Method, and Unsynchronized Two-Ended Method. All the methods are explained in the 4th chapter. I used these methods to locate the breakdown place in the following chapter. It happened on a line V203 in the direction from Sokolnice to Opočínek. I used the SIGRA program to visualize the process of voltage and current. This program specializes in locating the breakdown place. The results were compared and evaluated at the end of the Master´s thesis.
