Abstract
This bachelor thesis compares different types of firefighter helmets used by Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic (FRS CR) and it deals with related valid legislation. Based on the properties of the helmets and the results of advice the questionnaires sent to the regions of the FRS CR, four helmets available in the Czech market were chosen and they were subjected to multi-criteria analysis. Point evaluation was obtained based on the requirements of professional fire protection units. Based on the analysis the buying advice for helmets was suggested for all the regions of the FRS CR.
