Abstract
The present bachelor thesis deals with the state of maintenance in a selected organization. The theoretical part of the thesis covers the development, importance and different types of maintenance. The practical part describes the current state of preventive maintenance in the organization and the proposal of a new preventive maintenance methodology including the design of standards and verification of the preventive maintenance methodology.
