Kvalita služby v sítích MPLS VPN

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with description and practical implementation of the Quality of service tools on Huawei and Cisco routers with MPLS VPN technology. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with a theoretical description of Quality of service and description of DiffServ models in MPLS VPN network. Especially, the basic parameters of Quality of service such as bandwidth, delay, jitter and packets loss. The description of the MPLS VPN technology. There are described DiffServ modes – Uniform mode and Short Pipe mode. In the practical part there is a description of the main Quality of service tools in DiffServ modes in MPLS VPN network and their related models. The next part of thesis describes testing of individual tools in MPLS VPN network, which is created of Huawei and Cisco routers. Also was there tested tools for traffic marking, traffic policing, traffic shaping and traffic prioritization Final part of my thesis verifies compatibility and functionality of both Huawei and Cisco routers in DiffServ modes in MPLS VPN network.
