Abstract

In this thesis, attention was focused on the treatment of industrial waste, which occurs during the surface treatment of materials, with an anti-corrosion protection layer in galvanic production enterprises. The obtained brown sludge was subjected to hydrometallurgical processing, X-ray analysis up to the electrolytic method of electrolysis with the aim of obtaining the amount of the element Zn. In the theoretical part, I describe the classification, treatment and recycling methods of this waste in industry and outside it, according to legislation. Possible methods of recovery of precious metals through recycling and its incorporation as a secondary material in products. The practical part of this thesis describes the initial method of processing sludge by leaching in hydroxides, drying, laboratory analysis up to the final recovery of Zn metal, which was the focus of this diploma thesis.
