Oskeruše na Strážnicku

Abstract

This thesis deals with the micro-region of Strážnicko and Tvarožná Lhota where the nearly forgotten service tree occurs. It specifies both natural and cultural attractions of this region and tries to draw the service tree nearer to general schema_dspacedb. In the first part we describe natural conditions of the Tvarožná Lhota area from the geological, hydrological, climatic and biological point of view. The second part focuses on Tvarožná Lhota itself and its close surroundings as the centre of the service tree appearence. A separate chapter is devoted to the unique and scarce service trees themselves concerning not only their origin but also their occurence and cultivation within the Czech Republic and abroad. Based on the previous chapters, the last one describes a tourist route which was specially designed to attract tourists coming to this picturesque area.
