Vyhodnocení a racionalizace procesů ve střední zdravotní distribuční firmě

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the existing processes in a medium-sized medical distribution company and the proposal of measures to rationalize them. Specifically, the thesis focuses on two key processes. BPMN models and process cards were used to model and describe the processes. Using the FMEA method, an analysis and evaluation of the risks associated with non-compliance with good distribution practices and non-compliance with procedures for control of drug identification elements was performed. A total of 12 risks were identified, the most serious of which are risks R3 – non-compliance with good distribution practice during transport by designated vehicles and R10 – confusion of goods. Based on the analysis, several measures were proposed to streamline processes and minimize risks. These measures include the implementation of clear guidelines on good distribution practice, regular staff training, the use of validated vehicles for transporting medicines, the introduction of a vehicle and storage monitoring system, and the implementation of an information system for double-checking. The implementation of the proposed measures can lead to improvements such as increased process efficiency, reduced costs, increased customer satisfaction, improved corporate image, and improved reliability and safety of drug distribution.
