Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to apply knowledge on regional politics, European Union funds and process of applying for the EU grants to the municipality Kokory in Olomouc region. Application involves an elaboration of new project with consequent application for the grant. In theoretical part, there are regional politics of the EU and EU funds of programme periods 2007 – 2013 and 2014 – 2020 described and compared. Further, project cycle, project application and its structure are determined.
Practical part deals with Kokory characterization being elaborated by system analysis method as well as its funding activity within the last programme period is mentioned here. Elaborated project plan of new project and application for the grant are the key part of practical part of the thesis. The application is related to the Operational programme Environment.
Evaluation of the project effectiveness and its contributions is also a part of practical part.
