Studium deformačního chování titanové slitiny podrobené intenzivní plastické deformaci metodou ECAP-Conform

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of severe plastic deformation (SPD) and its application in the processing of titanium alloys. The theoretical part analyzes SPD technology, with an emphasis on the ECAP – Conformmethod, which enables the achievement of a fine-grained structure and improved mechanical properties of the material. Furthermore the properties of titanium and its alloys are discussed with regard to the practical applications. The main objective of this work is experimentally determine the natural deformation resistence of the studied titanium materiál at different temperatures and to perform a numerical simulation of the ECAP – Conform process. The experimental part includes a unaxial hot compression test, based on which a mathematical formulation of deformation resistence is developed. Subsequently the whole proces sis simulated. The results of this study contribute to a better understanding of the deformation behavior of titanium during sever plastic deformazion and provide a foundation for the more efficient desing of technological processes aimed at improving the mechanical properties of these materials.
