Návrh centra pro vzdělávání obyvatelstva v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

This diploma thesis explores the history and the present-day state of preventive education focused on children and youth. After 1989, the issue of citizen protection was neglected for a long time in the Czech Republic, and has been opened up again just recently; the thesis looks into the current state, projects and activities of the integrated safety system of preventive education. The thesis also describes the best European education centres located in Aachen and Karlovy Vary, as well as mentioning centres across the world, primarily in the USA which is the cradle of this type of education and a location for numerous centres of this type. The aims of this thesis are to thoroughly analyse individual elements of the current education centres, from the specific safety topics they focus on to the organization of the centres, as well as propound an education centre focused on safety in the Moravian-Silesian region.
