Abstract

Submitted thesis deals with the issue of operating passenger lift in block of flats. Introductory part introduces with history and development in the defined space of time and performing the lift cage. On this part then follow the statistics of the recorded accidents at the appointed space of time. The aim of the thesis is to create a manual for control of access roads and service activities by means of appropriate methods of risk analysis. The results are then evaluated fulfilled the requirements of the owner/operator of passenger lift, and service company. Conclusion contains proposals and procedures to ensure the safe operation of a passenger lift.
