Abstract

In this thesis I deal with a topic of „Design and Implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Using a Selected Statistical Software“, at the Taforge a.s. company. This thesis deals with implementation of suitable methods for implementation of the statistical process control (SPC) used in production of two forgings with a different production method. The weight of the forging was defined as an evaluation aspect of the quality of the first forging. For the statistical process control (SPC) itself, methods of comprehensive statistical analysis of measured data (graphic methods and test of statistical hypothesis), Shewhart control charts and indices of capability processes were used. The process was assessed from the point of view of statistical stability and capability. On the basis of the results achieved, possible proposals for improvement of the process were evaluated. The aim of the thesis was to implement methods for application of the statistical process control (SPC) on the most frequently forged parts as a model for implementation of statistical process control (SPC) on all components produced.
