Globální změna klimatu jako fenomén střetu názorů

Abstract

Global climate change currently belongs to one of the most recent topics of interest and can be seen from the environmental, economic, social as well as political point of view. There are two antagonistic opinion platforms which either confirm or deny the existence of this phenomenon and often take extreme positions. This bachelor’s degree thesis emphasizes the point of view of natural science in the given problem and consists of analysis and description of the most frequently used methods of investigation of development and climate change. The problem is studied from the perspective of geosciences, such as climatology, paleoclimatology, geology, astronomy, oceanography as well as other disciplines. In conclusion, the acquired knowledge is synthesized. However, due to the complexity of the issue, no single side is taken that would tilt in favor of a specific opinion platform. Rather, ideological paradigms are confronted with real measured data and derived findings based on the present and geological history of the Earth.
