Abstract

Well testing plays an important role at many stages of well’s life by assessing both reservoir and well performance. This paper deals with an analysis pressure build-up test, carried out in a natural gas reservoir, developed by a single vertical well (Pr2) that belongs to Prušánky field, Czech Republic. It aims to characterise the reservoir and well parameters and feasible flow and boundary models using the Weatherford´s PanSystem sw. The reservoir was already depleted at the time of this study hence the camparison between the estimated OGIP and the cumulative production was made possible. The study´s main outcomes include estimation of important parameters such as reservoir permeability (125 mD) and skin factor (+6). Furthermore, the interpretation showed that selection of a two-cell compartmentalized reservoir model provided the most feasible estimation of the original gas in-place.
