Abstract

This thesis focuses on the assessment of the employee recruitment and selection system in a selected organization. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current setup of these HR activities, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and propose recommendations to improve their effectiveness and attractiveness to potential candidates. The theoretical part of the thesis defines key concepts in the areas of human resource management, personnel management, and methods of recruitment and selection. The practical part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The quantitative method involves a questionnaire survey among employees, while the qualitative method includes a semi-structured interview with the organization’s HR specialist. Based on the research findings, specific recommendations are formulated to help improve and optimize the recruitment and selection system.
