Veřejné osvětlení ve vazbě na bezpečnost v nočním dopravním prostoru

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze, in the context of safety in the night traffic area, roads from the driver's perspective in the interaction of public lighting and a moving car with LED low beam headlights. In the theoretical part, I dealt with the classification of roads and their lighting requirements according to the standard ČSN EN 13201. Then a description of automotive headlamps including requirements for LED dipped beam headlamps and finally a summary of the latest findings in terms of visibility in the night traffic area. In the practical part of the thesis I create four typical model roads with realistic parameters in BuildingDesign together with LED public lighting and a car with LED dipped beam headlights. Then, after performing the calculations, I analyze these model roads in terms of visibility of potential obstacles and evaluate them, emphasizing the area of the left supplementary space in the plane with the public lighting fixtures as a critical area in terms of visibility of a potential obstacle from the driver's perspective.
