Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of several surface active agents on emulsion stability. The following surfactants were used: sodium oleate, tert-butanol, sodium dodecyl sulfate, polyethylene – polypropylene glycol, propylene glycol monostearate and oleic acid. The preparation of solutions for measurement of surface and interfacial tension is described in the experimental part. For a single surfactant solution was realized an experiment on a 3D-printed droplet generator. The result is concentration dependencies of the individual surfactants. Then, optimal concentrations of surfactants were determined in both aqueous and oil phases.
