Abstract

This thesis is developed on the topic Employment State Control Authorities and it is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction and the last (fifth) the conclusion. The second chapter addresses the theoretical question of control in public administration. The third chapter outlines the State Labour Inspection Office located in Opava and the fourth chapter deals with the controls, which were executed on the basis of suggestions which were made and have already been referred to the State Labour Inspection Authority in 2006 - 2009.

The aim of this work is to evaluate the monitoring activities of the State Labour Inspection Office to see if employers can take lessons from the controls, where appropriate, and whether the penalties imposed, ultimately remove the deficiencies observed or not.
