Abstract

This thesis Innovation in System of Project Risk Management Engineering Company with subtitle Design Database System with the Use of Discriminant Analysis for Engineering Company with Integrated Risk Management for their Effective Management under Uncertainty aims to build on existing risk management methodologies for projects that addresses a number of important publications, to use information and knowledge of project risk management in a significant domestic industrial company, to develop the area of quantitative risk analysis in a way that could plausibly show the magnitude and impact of risks on the project and design a database system to retain data on the progress of project risk management to create a knowledge base. The process of quantitative analysis solved in the thesis uses methods including, in particular statistical and simulation methods, creating scenarios, decision trees and sensitivity analysis. These methods are then applied on selected projects and types of risk in industrial companies ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION a. s. and ŠKODA VAGONKA a. s. Last chapter is devoted to multidimensional survey technique to a practical demonstration of the use of discriminant analysis, which draws on information from the proposed project risk management database.
