Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis explores the potential applications of an luminance analyzer for the assessment of road lighting under nocturnal conditions. The theoretical section defines the fundamental photometric quantities, the requirements for public lighting as specified in the ČSN EN 13201 standard series, and the operating principles of both luminance meters and luminance analyzers. The practical section presents a procedural guide for dynamic luminance measurements using the LMK 6-5 analyzer and an example evaluation of a selected road segment.
