Návrh a realizace simulátoru fotopletysmografického signálu

Abstract

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to build a simulator of photoplethysmographic signal, which can be used for an education. This simulator uses photodiodes to capture the light from a finger sensor to measure plethysmography. This signal is afterward amplified and stabilized to fixed values by comparators. The lighting intervals of the red and infrared LEDs of the finger sensor alternate. Therefore, the signal is always only on one of the bases of two transistors. A simulated plethysmographic signal is applied to the collectors of these transistors. And there is a possibility of setting the simulated heart rate in the range of 45 to 143 beats per minute. This signal is generated using the development board of the ATmega328 Arduino Nano microcontroller and subsequent filtering. This simulator was tested on an EAGLE 4000 patient monitor.
