Návrh na snížení abrazivních účinků u části odsávacího zařízení v lomu Kozí Vrch

Abstract

The dissertation offers solution to abrasiveness issues that consequently causes an operational issue to a part of the exhaust duct; furthermore the dissertation recommends suitable material to eliminate the abrasion. First two chapters conclude of theoretical part which explains characteristics, geology and quarry’s working conditions, it also describes negative impact that dust could have on the quarry’s employees and the environment. The second, practical, part of the dissertation explains current condition of the exhaust duct and defines problematic parts. My dissertation explains different decision methods used when selecting the suitable material; it explains material features and practical use of the material in a working environment. I compared my chosen materials not only from technical side but also considered the financial implementation. In my final part of the dissertation I proposed two solutions to the issue - one short term and another long term.
