Abstract
The theme of this diploma thesis is comparison of behavior of consumers of generations Baby Boomers, X and Y in the area of credit activities of financial institutions. The first part, methodology and methods of the diploma thesis, is focused on introducing methods of research and data collection, and there is described the specific methodology used in this thesis. In the next part is outlined the issue of division and function of financial institutions, and there are also defined financial terms and types of loans. In the following section, the basic groups of generations are introduced, with special reference to the generations Baby Boomers, X and Y. The fifth chapter introduces companies that deal with the provision of consumer credit, both banking and non-banking institutions. The sixth chapter describes the analysis of consumer behavior in the area under investigation, which was found in the questionnaire survey. The final part is an evaluation of the analysis and suggestions and recommendations for the consumer credit providers, which should contribute to a better service offer according to the preferences of the individual generations.
