Akutní toxicita na Artemia salina pro vodné odpady

Abstract

This bachelor thesis in the theoretical part deals with the origin and composition of the water waste, its specific division, impact on the environment and water waste treatment. This thesis is also devoted to the introduction to the disciplines: ecotoxicology, toxicity, stress metals (heavy metals) and their effects on humans and the whole ecosystem. The last point is the research on the topic of the water waste effects on Artemia salina (brine shrimp). In the experimental part is described the acute test for Artemia salina in a sample of water waste from the Wastewater treatment plant Hlučín city in which was observed the mortality of individuals in the time 24 and 48 hours. The test was performed on a standard solution of potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7). With the results were processed graphs and was determined the value LC50, LC20 and LC80, respectively. There were also analysed individuals parameters of water waste, including metal contents.
