Recyklované polymerní kompozity a jejich aplikace

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the recycling of polymer matrix composites and their potential for reintegration into new composite materials. The aim is to evalute the effect of incorporating recycled composite materiál into new composites through experimental analysis. Recycled carbon fibers obtained by mechanical shredding were blended into two different matrices. The first matrix is polyurethan foam intended for application in sandwich panels, the second matrix is epoxy resin. Afterwards, composite samples were produced and their mechanical properties were tested using three-point bending method. The test results were compared across groups of samples to assess the effect of recycled composite content on the usability of the newly developed composites.
