Abstract

The thesis deals with the analysis of the price of gold on the world market. The introduction of the thesis focuses mainly on the historical and economic significance of this precious metal. The main purpose of this thesis is to estimate the real price of gold on the world market for 2024 and 2025. This thesis analyzes the development of gold price in the world market and tries to estimate its future value. Gold is a traditional investment asset with a long history of use as a store of value and a hedge against inflation. In recent years, however, its price has become more volatile and affected by various factors such as economic events, monetary policy, geopolitical tensions and investment demand. This paper focuses on the analysis of these factors and their impact on the price of gold.
