Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the managment of wastewater and stormwater in an area that is designated for residential development. The project focuses on a site planned for the construction of twenty-eight properties in Hukvaldy, for which it is necessary to design a connection to the technical infrastructure for wastewater collection and disposal. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the characteristics of the area of interest, defines the problem and presents the relevant technical and legislative background related to wastewater management. The practical part proposes a drainage solution for the area in the form of a separate sewer system. It includes the preparation of complete design documentation. The proposed solution respects the technical, economic and environmental requirements as well as the specific conditions of the given location.
