Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with merchandising subjects of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, specifically clothing. The aim of the work was to find out the opinions of customers on these subjects, their suggestions for improvement and the design of a new design of clothing with unification for all faculties of the university. The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes the marketing of services, universities in the Czech Republic and VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The second part describes the data collection procedure and the theoretical analysis of the current merchandising design of the university. In the third part, proposals for a new design of clothing are presented with the evaluation of respondents. The research was carried out by a quantitative method of data collection. The evaluation was based on a questionnaire survey of 142 respondents and the results show that the current design is rather disliked. Respondents would like to have a new better product design. Proposals and their evaluation are given at the end of the thesis, along with steps that could be taken to improve the attitude of students.
