Abstract

Bachelor Thesis deals with inventory control and operations carried out in warehouses. The first section describes the basic functions of a warehouse and tasks it carried out. Furthermore, the information that we need to keep with the product during storage or after. There is also an overview of the main providers of warehouse management system in the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis also describes the basic technology used for warehouse management without using the keyboard. The second part describes the design and subsequent implementation of its own system for stock records. The aim was to create a clear system that meets the requirements of the client and will allow the use of bar code scanners, which today are often used in warehouses. For the implementation I used PHP and MySQL.
