The diploma thesis deals with the theoretical analysis and interpretation of the ČSN EN ISO 19650 standard, which is divided into five parts. In the theoretical part, it focuses on the analysis of the theoretical starting points associated with the BIM method and the description of the ČSN EN ISO 19650 standard. In the practical part, these theoretical starting points are applied to the project of the Faculty of Economics VŠB – TUO. The goal was to conduct an audit of the completed contract according to the wording of the ČSN EN ISO 19650 standard. The result is the establishment of the fact whether the wording of this standard was correctly applied when solving this construction project and whether the contract fulfilled the essence of information modeling and information management and identified deviations from the wording of the standard.
